Fundraising is vital for a small charity like ours, helping us to continue our important work. It allows us to put on activities for families and young people with Down’s syndrome, run speech and language therapy sessions, along with producing information, raising awareness and doing all the other great things you can read about on this site.

Our fantastic supporters have raised funds for us by carrying out some impressive challenges – competing in Tough Mudder, skydiving, holding football and netball tournament, and even running a wineathon.

If you would like to help us raise more funds by taking on a challenge then we could use your help – so please get in touch!

If you prefer to keep your feet on the ground, there are many other ways you can help us – for example by organising a bag pack at your local supermarket, supporting our stalls at events such as the Normanton Gala, or volunteering at our Family Fun Day.

You can even support us from the comfort of your own home by using the easyfundraising website, where well-known retailers will give us a small donation every time you shop online!

For any questions about fundraising opportunities please get in touch with Alison on alison@downsyndrome-wakefield.co.uk.
