We have now set up a small library at our monthly Saturday Club meeting, which is free for all of our members to use. This was set up with the Lottery funding that we won through your votes for the People’s Projects! You can find out more about how it works by clicking here.
It’s a great chance to have a flick through some of the books and DVDs that are available out there and see which catch your interest before spending money on books you might not like. There are information books and some of the personal stories, as well as books written for children with DS and for other children about DS or disability. And there is a great collection of Justin Fletcher’s finest works when you’re bored of Something Special!
